Why I built it this way

I wanted a site that is quick to load, cheap to host, and easy to keep up to date. It’s built with Astro, which turns Markdown files into plain HTML, so there is no database or plugins to patch.

How it works

Each project and article is a Markdown file in the repository.
Every change pushed to GitHub is built and deployed automatically.
The contact form is a small PHP script that runs on the existing web hosting.
